Robert Mullis Rocking Horse Maker

 
Robert Mullis is a maker of fine wooden rocking horses, made in the spirit of a bygone age yet unique testimonies to twenty-first century craftsmanship.

Robert Mullis's own range of rocking horses, with heads modelled on those of Arab horses and noted for their kindly features and gentle faces, are enhanced by rolled bridles in genuine leather.

An apprenticeship with an old established firm of agricultural contractors in the Wiltshire village where Robert Mullis was born, afforded him a love of timbers and a knowledge of woodworking techniques which have stood him in good stead as a craftsman in wood.
 
 
 
 
 
 

That craft has developed from a single rocking horse made for 'something to do' some years ago into a thriving business, sending rocking horses, each individually made to order, all over the world: to Sweden, France, Holland, Germany, Austria and even to places as far afield as Japan and Indonesia, Australia and the USA.
